A man in his 40s was found dead

The police state that the man in his 40s is said to have gone on a trip on Tuesday morning or afternoon. Several volunteers from the Red Cross, Norwegian Rescue Dogs and Norwegian People’s Aid participated in the action and searched in relevant routes. On Wednesday afternoon, the police stated that the man was found dead, and that he had probably fallen from a height. The next of kin have been notified. Searched again at night It was the man’s family who reported him missing when he did not return from the trip. – We have rescue crews out searching the mountains. There have also been searches by helicopter and these searches will be taken up again during the day, said Eivind Klokkersund, operations manager in Møre and Romsdal police district on Wednesday morning.
