Krf mayor Andreas Bjorland wants Kjell Ingolf Ropstad as new KrF leader – news Rogaland – Local news, TV and radio

– We all remember the story about the boy’s room. I think he solved it in an exemplary way and came out of it stronger, and I am sure that Ropstad would be a good leader for KrF, says Andreas Bjorland (KrF). He is the mayor of Hå in Rogaland, the municipality which is the purest showcase for KrF’s politics. Hå has had KrF mayors for the past decade, and is known for a generous scheme with cash support. Now Bjorland is not only pointing at Ropstad, but a whole trio he believes should be the new leadership in KrF, after Olaug Bollestad resigned as leader on Thursday evening. He refers to Ida Lindtveit Røse, who is currently deputy leader, as a skilled politician who joins and complements the other two. Ida Lindtveit RøseHadle Rasmus Bjuland A more value-conservative KrF? Hadle Rasmus Bjuland comes from the same municipality as Bjorland. He is the leader of KrFU and made headlines this summer when he told Aftenposten that he supported the “tradwife” trend. – Both of these are conservative candidates. Do you want a more conservative KrF? – I don’t think we should divide candidates into conservatives or liberals. I think they will preserve the breadth of the party, says Bjorland. Ingelin Noresjø was deputy manager when Ropstad ran KrF. Today she is the head of NHO and does not point at the old boss. Ingelin Noresjø believes that the current deputy leader should become KrF’s new leader. And given the whole story, I think it’s wise to pass the baton on to someone completely new, says she, who wants Ida Lindtveit Røse to be at the top. – She has long shown herself to be a solid politician. She is brave, sharp and a great political talent. I have seen her as a future leader candidate, says Noresjø. The leadership trio believes it should be completed with Jorunn Lossius from Agder and Hans Olav Syversen from Oslo. Jorunn LossiusHans Olav Syversen Tomorrow the central board will meet to stake out the road further after Bollestad. Leader of the nomination committee, Reid Ivar B. Dahl, has previously stated to news that the new party leadership should reflect that they are a nationwide party. – The new leader must have great confidence in the party and have a good ability to convey KrF’s policy. I am sure we will manage to find that person, he says. Will have new management in place quickly Bjorland hopes the nomination committee will work quickly to find a new permanent management trio. And that it should be in place before the ordinary national meeting in the spring. – We can say a lot about what the party has been through the last two weeks, but we need stability to build up a new leadership in the lead up to the election. When we have these in place, I think we should have an extraordinary national meeting so that we can land the trio, he says. Kjell Ingolf Ropstad wrote in an SMS to news that he has declined renomination and is not a candidate for the leadership position. Published 27.08.2024, at 19.00 Updated 27.08.2024, at 19.15
