Operations manager in the police, Bjarne Pedersen says the car that started burning first was an electric car. The fire then spread to up to 20 cars that were damaged by the fire inside a car park. Eight of the cars are completely damaged, while 12 have been damaged, the police say. No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire. The police also asked residents in the area to close their windows due to heavy smoke. Just after 7 p.m., the police report that the fire has been extinguished. According to Pedersen, there is nothing so far to indicate that the fire was set.
