On Saturday morning, strong wind and rain hit Os, outside Bergen. The storm caused major damage to the sports facility at Nore Neste. Large parts of the roof are piled up, and lie strewn over the artificial turf. The track itself has also suffered extensive damage. – It is tough to see the devastation that is here. Both he and his son are happy that despite everything the storm hit early in the morning, and that there were no injuries to children and young people. – This is a sports facility that is in use every day. We were supposed to have two home games at 11 o’clock. It’s lucky that this happens when there are no children and young people at the facility. It now says that there will be a major clean-up before the track is ready for play again, says Erik Andre Hesthammar. – It started to rain like I’ve never seen before. Several roofs have also been hit hard by the storm. Parts of the roof of a four-person house flew about 100 meters and hit a house wall. No one was home in the house and no one was injured, the police report. There is also damage to another residential building, where the roof should have lifted and landed again. He took the kids and ran down into the basement in case there were planks and roof plants. – It started to rain like I’ve never seen before. But suddenly she saw something strange in the camera lens. – I had to rub my eye to understand what it was I saw, she says to news. It turned out to be a trampoline, which flew several meters above the rooftops at Skeisbotnen and Nore Neset; – It could have gone really wrong. The trampoline could have hit people, but luckily I found it again when I went for a walk with the dog a little later. Baldersheim says that she and her husband have previously considered purchasing a trampoline for their children, but that it is out of the question after this. Yellow warning for torrential rain The weather has calmed down during the afternoon.
