Both the accused are men in their 20s and they have been wanted by the police after the incident in the center of Trondheim at the weekend. There is a third accused in the case who has not yet been arrested. The two accused will be produced for remand in Trøndelag District Court on Thursday. – We have worked thoroughly on the investigation that led to the arrests yesterday. The accused are requested to be remanded in custody because of the risk of tampering with evidence, says John R. The incident must have happened approximately between 2.20 and 2.40 on the night of Sunday 11 August. Furunes states that both the three wanted men, as well as the man who was injured, are already known to the police. – The incident does not appear to be random. – We have some thoughts about what could be the motive, but we will not say anything about that for the time being.
