The launch took place with a rocket from the company SpaceX. The satellites go in an orbit so that most of the time they are high above the Arctic regions. The two satellites will ensure that there is continuous coverage. The satellites are owned by the state-owned company Space Norway. They also have payloads from others, including a secret payload from the US military.
