8 August 2024 at 02:00 Man missing after swimming in Trondheim A man is missing after he went for a swim in the sea at the port area of Brattøra in Trondheim on Thursday night. The emergency services were notified of the incident at 1.43am. – Two mates decided to take a swim from Brattørkaia over to the jetty, but apparently one didn’t make it. We have found clothes and a mobile phone on land, operations manager Bjørnar Gaasvik in Trøndelag police district tells NTB. He says it’s not a long swim. – Divers have been sent to the site and the emergency services are searching the area, says the operations manager. The emergency services also search from the air with a drone. (NTB)
