On Friday, a Norwegian man was killed in Alicante on the south coast of Spain, and his Norwegian wife has been charged with the murder. Their children were present and must have seen parts of the incident. Both the accused’s brother and the defense lawyer have been quick to claim that she must have acted as an emergency guardian, and that the two parties had a conflict-filled relationship. The woman’s defender, Juan Sánchez Otharán, tells news that there must have been talk of a violent marriage. The deceased was also previously convicted of robbery in 2001, and violence in close relationships in 2003. Reacting to the mention The survivors say they react strongly to the mention of the man, and their impression is that he has lived a completely different life in recent years than he did in his younger years.
