It has been four and a half months since the triple murder in the small Hallingdal village of Torpo in Ål, where Ingunn (53), Sander (22) and Signe (18) were shot while they were sleeping. The police believe they were killed by the father and husband, who took their own lives after the murders. The police have now received answers to the Kripos’ weapons investigations. – We have confirmed which weapon was used during the murders. We have also had confirmation of what we previously assumed, that a silencer was not used, says police attorney Ann Iren Svane Mathiassen in the South-East police district. Awaiting report Before the summer, the police received answers to the toxicological samples that were taken in connection with the autopsies of those killed. The test results show that the dead were not under the influence of sedative drugs. Findings at the scene show that the killed were asleep when they were shot. – The police know that one of those killed slept with earplugs. This could be one of the explanations why the person in question did not wake up from gunshots. Mathiassen is still waiting for the final autopsy reports, which may provide even more answers.
