2 August 2024 at 07:00 Over 15,000 students in the housing queue Figures from the Swedish Cooperative Council show that 17,389 students have signed leases with the student ship companies in the period 1 May to 1 August. That is nine more than the record from last year. But there are still many students queuing up to get student accommodation. On 1 August, there were 15,675 students on the waiting list. But recent years have shown that two-thirds of those queuing at the beginning of August have found a place to live at the end of the month. Most students are waiting for housing in Oslo.
