At 14.44 the police received a report of a fire in a detached house in Fana. – It’s a complete overshoot, says operations manager in the West police district, Tatjana Knappen. Several resources from the police are on the scene, along with the fire service and ambulance. – Open flames have been observed coming out of a window, says the operations manager. The flames have also broken through the roof. Extinguishing is underway at the site. At 15.30 the police say that there is less danger of spreading. The fire service is working on extinguishing work at the site. It can be toxic fumes, says Knappen. The police focus on securing the fire brigade’s access to the site so that they can work freely, says the operations manager. It is not clear whether there are people inside the house, but one in three residents has been accounted for, says Knappen.
