June 3, 2022 at 11:11 Work accident in Stavanger Ambulance and police moved out just before 11 o’clock after a report of a work accident in the new high-rise building in the St. Olav quarter in Stavanger city center. One person fell into a newly built elevator shaft and work was being done to lift the injured person out. The extent of the damage is unknown. Operations leader Anders Oppedal says the person probably fell 3-4 meters. The police car in emergency was on its way to the accident when it crashed into a car.
