Rafa Salama and the leader of the Al-Qassam Brigade, Mohammed Deif, were the targets of Israel’s attack on Saturday. The two are described as “the masterminds behind the 7 October massacre” by the IDF. According to the Palestinian authorities, the attack killed at least 90 Palestinians.
