11 July 2024 at 13:37 Terrorist convict Anders Behring Breivik must follow his own appeal digitally A PST report, high costs and consideration for other prisoners mean that Anders Behring Breivik must follow large parts of his own trial digitally. That’s what Nettavisen writes. On 9 December, the appeal case starts where Breivik has sued the state for what he believes are poor prison conditions and violations of human rights. Now the Borgarting Court of Appeal has decided that he must follow large parts of the case digitally from Ringerike prison, where he is currently serving time. A total of five court days have been set aside, one of which is for inspection so that the court can look at the sentencing conditions. It is planned that Breivik will be able to explain himself by physical attendance on this day. This will take place in the gymnasium in Ringerike prison.
