All emergency services responded to a collision between a watercraft and a boat in Bangsund in Trøndelag. The police received a report about the accident at 17.16 on Saturday. One person is seriously injured after the accident. The person was first taken by ambulance to the hospital in Namsos, but later flown to St. Olav’s hospital in Trondheim. – Health has decided that the person who is seriously injured will be flown to St. Olav’s hospital, says operations manager Roger Mogstad to news. Large resources At 4pm on Saturday, the police started a search for a person in the water following a report that fishing equipment had been found on a hiking trail. – Then we have fishing equipment but lack a fisherman, said Mogstad. A witness saw a person fishing at the site around 3:30 p.m. On that basis, the police launched a search for the fisherman both in water and on land.
