5 July 2024 at 16:02 The best cultural organizers are in Tromsø Since 2001, Norwegian Cultural Organizers (NKA) has handed out awards to colleagues in the industry, as a kind of Amanda award for cultural organizers. Most of the prizes for 2023 have now been awarded, and although this is a nationwide competition, Tromsø took most of them. – Never before have so many organizers from the same city won awards in the same awards ceremony. Tromsø clearly excelled last year, and this has not gone unnoticed among organizers in the country as a whole, says Siri Haugan Holden, general manager of Norwegian Cultural Organizers in a press release. – There are an incredible number of good events here in the north, and the cultural life in Tromsø is essential for us to live here, says Vasil Gjuroski, festival director and general manager of Tromsø World.
