29 February 2024 at 10:43 BT: Discovery of remains after a fire in Bergen The fire brigade and the police went to a private address in Åsane on Thursday morning after reports of a fire. The owner of the house escaped unharmed from the incident, while another person has not been accounted for. Now the police report that they have found remains in the house. – We do not have a certain identity of the person who was found. But we have notified the next of kin of the person who is said to have been detained in the home, says prosecutor Linn Skaar Sætre to BT. The whole house, which was in a farm yard, was on fire when the emergency services arrived. At 09.55, the 110 West central reported that the fire is under control. The cause of the fire is not known.
