12 February 2024 at 16:30 Receives the medal for noble deed for their efforts during the Oslo terror attack on 25 June 12 people will receive the medal for noble deed on Monday, a merit given for “honorable behavior when saving human life or other similar deed”. They are all honored for their efforts on the terrorist night of 25 June 2022, when Zaniar Matapor opened fire in the center of Oslo. Two men were killed and 23 injured. Among those receiving the medal are Bjørn Yngve Bjøneseth and Bjarne Funsrud. They told news about the fateful meeting with Matapor. Read more below.
