The final concert of Åge og Sambandet is sold out – news Trøndelag – Local news, TV and radio

The concert will be played at Lerkendal Stadium in Trondheim on 6 September 2025. On Wednesday, 18,000 tickets were sold in 14 minutes. This is confirmed by Stein Vanebo in Trondheim internship for news. – It was a given that it was sold out, he says. A total of 25,000 tickets have been sold. The regular ticket sale started at 10 am on Wednesday, but some people had the opportunity to buy tickets in advance on Monday. – We always hope to sell out, but to sell out almost 20,000 tickets in such a short time… Yes, I don’t know what to say, says a speechless Vanebo. – On behalf of Åge and the Association, this is an adventure, and it only says how much they will be missed. Will be an extra concert With over 20,000 people queuing, Åge and the Association have good news for those who did not secure a ticket. – We have spoken in the team, and it seems that the response and the pressure on ticket sales is so enormous that we can do nothing but post one more concert. That is what Åge and Sambandet write in a press release. Photo: screenshot Åge himself is both moved and shocked by the response. – I imagined a community center or something like that. Much less a football stadium, and I was probably the one who doubted the most that it was possible to fill up Lerkendal. This is overwhelming, moving and absolutely wonderful. Tickets for the extra concert on Friday 5 September 2025 go on sale on Thursday 1 February at 2pm. Completely wild When news met Åge Aleksandersen and the Association during the announcement of the closing concert, they were not sure whether they would be able to fill the stadium. – It sounds completely wild, said Aleksandersen. The concerts with “Sambandet” will become history. They won the Spellemannpris together in 1980, and continued for a few years before taking a longer break. Since 2003, they have kept it going. Means a lot Åge Aleksandersen says Lerkendal means a lot to him as it is the home ground of his favorite team Rosenborg. – In addition, I was never selected for the team. That’s why I now come with my own team and play at Lerkendal. – Finally, there will be some good “spiel” at Lerkendal too. Åge Aleksandersen says that Lerkendal means a lot to him. Photo: Jøte Toftaker / news When asked why he thinks it is time to give up, he says that he feels it is right to give up at the top. – Everything in its time. I will soon be 75 and will hopefully be 76 next year. If I am delivered with a warranty, I must guarantee that it will not expire before September 6 next year. After that I think I can let the warranty expire. Then maybe I’ll come up with something else, laughs Åge Aleksandersen. Not the first time Lerkendal has been used as a concert venue in the past as well. Here you can see some memories from a selection of these concerts: “Rai rai!” shouted, sorry sang, Bjarne Brøndbo and the others in DDE when they held a concert in Lerkendal in 2005. Photo: Arne Kristian Gansmo / news Later that evening, it was Kaizer’s Orchestra who played the most beautiful notes and the most incomprehensible words from the Lerkendal stage. Here is one of the audience a little earlier in the day. Probably under Immortal or Pagans Mind. Photo: Jørn Gjersøe / news Although it is not shown that this is in Lerkendal, we can confirm that Bruce Dickinson stands here on the same ground as, for example, Harald Martin Brattbakk and later Nicklas Bendtner have had as their playroom. Without comparison otherwise. Photo: Jørn Gjersøe / news It didn’t go as well for Kiss. The slow Trønder audience simply could not buy enough tickets to fill the mat. Gene Simmons and the rest of the guys were thus directed to the parking lot. Photo: Roy Hilmar Svendsen / news Fortunately, things went much better for Morten Harket and his friends. A-ha filled the lawn with the audience in 2010. Surely in one of their many reunion concerts. Photo: Arne Kristian Gansmo / news
