Six artists are tonight fighting for three final places. In the end, it was Anne Fagermo and Dag Erik Oksvold, Gåte and Super Rob and Erika Norwich who received the most votes from the audience. This means that Norwegian-Australian Mileo, Farida and Eli Kristin had to give thanks. – I can’t stop screaming Erika Norwich, the songwriter and artist from Trondheim gave a unique performance in connection with MGP. She stood on stage with the robot Super Bob. – I am completely convinced that I have progressed to the final. It will be a lot of fun, she says. Dag Erik Oksvold and Anne Fagermo during the second semi-final in MGP 2024 Reunion with MGP winners The second of a total of three semi-finals in Melodi Grand Prix has offered mythical rock in Old Norse, a huge robot on stage and pyro! In addition, Tix and Gaute Ormåsen appeared on the occasion of a memorable costume in Melodi Grand Prix. There was also a demonstration outside news against Israel’s participation in Eurovision. The Norwegian MGP final will be held in Trondheim Spektrum on Saturday 4 February. Melodi Grand Prix 2024 The competition consists of three semi-finals and a grand final. 18 artists and bands are participating in MGP 2024. Each semi-final consists of six entries. Three of the songs in each semi-final are sent on to the final. The first semi-final will be broadcast on Saturday 13 January on NRK1 and news TV. All semi-finals are broadcast from news’s premises at Marienlyst in Oslo. The final will be broadcast on Saturday 3 February on NRK1 and news TV.
