6 January 2024 at 00:56 Another cold record in Oslo – below minus 30 degrees For the first time, below minus 30 degrees has been measured at an official weather station in Oslo. The record was measured at Bjørnholt. The record is minus 30.3 degrees. It was measured between 10pm and 11pm on Friday evening, after 29.3 degrees had been measured earlier in the evening. However, a new record has not been set in the city of Oslo. It was also cold at Blindern, but 21.4 minus degrees is nowhere near the old record of 26 minus degrees. That measurement was made in January 1942.
