10 December 2023 at 10:32 Die in an avalanche on Sunnmøre One person died after being caught by an avalanche on Langenestinden in Ørsta municipality on Saturday. Relatives have been notified, the police report. The person who was taken by the avalanche was a man in his 60s. He was taken out of the avalanche and taken to St. Olav’s hospital in Trondheim, where he was pronounced dead yesterday afternoon, the police report.
