A person must be caught by an avalanche in Ørsta on Sunnmøre – news Møre og Romsdal – Local news, TV and radio

At 2.20pm on Saturday, the police in Møre and Romsdal reported that a person had been taken by an avalanche on Langenestinden in Sunnmøre – A person has been located and picked up from the snow. Work will be done on site, says Tove Holst-Dyrnes, head of operations in the police, to news around 2.30pm. The extent of the damage is so far unknown. Air ambulance and rescue helicopter are on the scene. At 14.48 the police report that the person is being taken to hospital by the rescue helicopter. According to Holst-Dyrnes, they have been informed that there is going to be a major landslide. Trip group report from The person was with others when the avalanche occurred.
