The tax lists can tell a lot about Ola and Kari Nordmann’s finances, but they tell far from the whole truth. The figure that emerges is the net total for income and assets – after all deductions to which one is entitled in tax terms. In addition, they show what you have paid in tax. The income that appears in the tax lists is what in tax parlance is called ordinary income. It is wage income and all other taxable income, minus all deductions.
