Demands NOK 495 per ticket for infants at the Christmas performance – news Vestfold and Telemark – Local news, TV and radio

– It’s not possible. This is completely wild, exclaims the mother of two from Vear outside Tønsberg when news makes contact. Mari Billing-Sivertsen and her husband Andreas were slightly shocked when they had to book tickets for this year’s edition of Putti Plutti Pott in Oslo Spektrum. – I could hardly believe what I heard when my husband told me that we also had to pay full price for Adam, she says, referring to her almost three-month-old son. The Billing-Sivertsen family are ready for Christmas celebrations. My brother and I have also auditioned to be on stage in this performance. The tickets were ordered via the Ticketmaster service, which sells tickets for a number of sporting and cultural events. – We contacted Ticketmaster as we could not understand that the ticket price of NOK 495 should also apply to infants. They just referred us on to the organizer Oslo Spektrum Arena, says Billing-Sivertsen. Fees of NOK 35 to 40 per ticket are included in the price. Photo: Private On November 20, Billing-Sivertsen sent an e-mail to Oslo Spektrum Arena AS to ask if it was really right that she has to pay the full ticket price for her almost three-month-old son. Quiet from Spektrum – Of course, I understand that our 2.5-year-old daughter should have her own ticket, but he, who is only 2.5 months old, must not have his own ticket, surely? He can’t take anything with him and he just lies in a baby carrier on my chest and sleeps through the entire performance, she wrote in the email. The short answer from Oslo Spektrum Arena AS was crystal clear: – Hey, hey. I’m sorry, but your son must have a ticket too. news was in contact with the reception at Oslo Spektrum on Sunday. There we were referred to general manager Per-Ole Moen. On Sunday, news tried to get in touch with Moen by phone and SMS without success. Massive support in social media As the daughter Saga will of course also be at the Christmas performance on Saturday 16 December, the small family spent close to NOK 2,000 in ticket expenses. The mother of two is surprised that Oslo Spektrum allows children under the age of two to enter the Disney on ice show for free, while everyone at Putti Plutti Pott is charged full price. – Many others don’t understand either, says Billing-Sivertsen, who has received massive support and a number of reactions after she shared a post about ticket prices on Facebook and Instagram.
