No one was seriously injured, the police told news. – It was just luck that there was no fatal accident. It may look like they were driving twice the legal speed, says Per-Ivar Iversen, head of operations at the Oslo police. Video footage shows that the cars were driving at high speed in the Ekeberg tunnel in a southbound direction. One car tried to squeeze in front of the other, as they overtook a third car. This causes a collision between the two racers, and one of them spins and goes into the tunnel wall. – This is not something we want on our roads. If you want to drive like that, you have to get a license to drive on a track, says Iversen. Both drivers are men in their 30s. Their driving license has been revoked and the matter will be investigated further by the police.
