– In connection with admission, the wrong medication was given to an elderly patient. We deeply regret this. The incident is very serious, and a great burden for both relatives and the health personnel involved. The National Health Inspectorate and the police have been notified, and an internal review will also be carried out to map out the case, says medical specialist Marte Lødemel Henriksen. She states that the next of kin have been informed and that they are being followed up by UNN. UNN does not wish to comment further on the incident out of consideration for the next of kin, health personnel involved and further investigations being carried out.
