Norway will settle 37,000 refugees in 2024 – news Vestland

Labor and Inclusion Minister Tonje Brenna is holding a press conference today to inform about the need to settle refugees in 2024. – The municipalities have made an impressive effort. We must continue to show solidarity with and take our share of the responsibility for people on the run. Therefore, we need the municipalities to stand up again. At the same time, we see that high arrivals over time put pressure on the municipalities’ and public authorities’ capacity and services in a number of areas. When we are now planning to resettle a record number of refugees for the third year in a row, it requires even more from the community, says Labor and Inclusion Minister Tonje Brenna (Ap) in a press release.
