The man who fired several shots in the parking lot of Ikea Furuset on 21 February this year has been sentenced to three years and six months. The 44-year-old was acquitted of attempted murder, but was convicted of bodily harm, serious threats and having an illegal firearm. He must also pay NOK 175,000 in compensation to the three offended parties. Pleaded partially guilty In court, he has denied criminal guilt for attempted murder, but pleaded guilty to bodily harm. The man was also charged with aggravated, illegal possession of a firearm, and for carrying a firearm in a public place. He pleaded guilty to these points in court. Sports manager The man has previously been convicted of several serious matters, including violence, abduction and complicity in robbery. He has nevertheless held a central position in a sports team in recent years.
