The 26-year-old woman was reported missing when she did not return to Oslo, after a trip to Rauma. The police went out on Tuesday looking for the woman. The last reliable observation was at Romsdalseggen six days ago. The police are now working to put together a further plan for the search together with the operations center and the main investigation centre. Among other things, a helicopter will be included in the search. – We have to see where we are after yesterday’s search and see what we need to do more of before we move on with further searches today. We have searched over Romsdalseggen and special areas that we are interested in, says police station chief in Rauma, Roar Mordal Hilde. Among other things, they must assess whether there is an area they should look into more closely. Yesterday the police also went out and asked cabin owners to check their cabins. – We are still asking for that, so that we can also get help with that. We also ask that those who have sightings of the woman contact us. The woman was seen by a witness when she went for a walk. She must have gone south from Nesaksla to Vengedalen, where she was supposed to stay at a cabin. The police have used a drone in the search for the missing woman. The police station chief says that they still have hope of finding the woman alive. – We keep all possibilities open, says Hilde. According to the police, the woman lives in Oslo and was reported missing by a person she shares an apartment with. Spanish woman is also missing From before, a 75-year-old Spanish woman is missing in the same area. She has been missing since 6 July. The search for the Spanish woman was only started last week. This promotion is temporarily closed due to a lot of snow in the area. Hilde says he can only answer in general that there are two cases of missing women in the same area. – I don’t think I should say much about the fact that we have had two such cases on the rap. But it may be that there are differences in the understanding of how demanding this area is, depending on whether you are from Norway or come from another culture.
