NTB reports A woman in her 30s has been sentenced to twelve years in prison for killing her roommate in Namsos last December. The verdict was handed down at the Trøndelag District Court on Friday. Stabbed with a knife It was the night of 23 December last year that the roommate of the now convicted woman was found dead in a house in Namsos. There were also two minor children in the apartment. They were witnesses to parts of what happened, the police said later. The couple came from Ukraine via the Czech Republic as refugees. The man killed in his 30s was not the father of her children. Believes she acted out of necessity The woman has always denied criminal guilt and believed that she acted out of necessity. Has the court not believed her.
