The boy had injuries corresponding to third-degree burns, several rib fractures and damage to internal organs. news has been in contact with his defense lawyer, Ahmad Taha. He says that they have no comment on the debt issue. The child welfare scandal in Bergen Saka led last year to the State Administrator in Vestland presenting an inspection report against child welfare. In this, it emerged that the father himself asked the child protection service for help in the case, around a month before the boy was found injured. Together with another serious child protection case, the inspection report led to a motion of no confidence against the city council in Bergen.
