On the night of Thursday last week, a woman in her 20s was found dead on the street in the tourist town of Torremolinos, south of Málaga in Spain. Although both Norwegian and Spanish police believed it was probably a Norwegian woman, the nationality was not confirmed until today. The 21-year-old girl is Norwegian. – Thanks to assistance with fingerprints from the Norwegian police, we can identify the woman, says a source in the Spanish police to news. The police are still waiting for the autopsy report, and investigators are following several possible leads. “The woman’s death has been communicated to her family in the country of her birth,” the police write in a press release. “The investigation continues on an open track, we have not ruled out any theories about the cause of death,” the police write further.
