Barcelona gem Lamine Yamal (16 years and 61 days) became the youngest ever to start a match for Spain when he was in Luis de la Fuente’s starting line-up against Cyprus. Last season he also became the youngest ever A-team player for Barcelona when he came on at 15 years and 290 days in the 4-0 victory over Real Betis.
