On Thursday, 30-year-old Jonas Aarseth Henriksen was found dead. The case was initially investigated as a suspicious death, but after the police received the preliminary autopsy report, they chose to investigate it as a homicide. The police are now working on several hypotheses and are looking for witnesses to the murder. The family is in shock after losing the 30-year-old. – What has happened still appears completely unreal. People who knew Henriksen well. – Many say Jonas has meant a lot to them in their lives. There are so many who remember him and so many to whom he has meant something. That confirms the Jonas we know and the person he was to us, says Borgen. Always said yes Former presenter Jan Erik Larssen has worked a lot with Henriksen and he described him as a hero. The family tells of a person who always helped those he could. – He always said yes and went to great lengths to do so. Whether it was within his profession or privately, he was a person who helped people around him. On social media, Henriksen has said that he has been subjected to violence, vandalism and attempted arson. In the past year, there have been three fires in his truck. Then this winter, Henriksen was attacked at dawn on his way to his truck. Two men beat him so violently that he was hospitalized. – I can confirm that he has had the status of offended in previous criminal cases. It is natural for us when we investigate to look at the victim’s life, his close contacts, his movements, says police attorney Tine Henriksen. – Do you think that what has happened is related to threats that he has received during the last few years? – We are very happy that the police see these cases in context now. And have all the focus on supporting and helping the police as far as we can in solving the case. And the police are deploying all resources to solve the case as quickly as possible, says Borgen Opened the church On Sunday afternoon, Ringerike municipality opened the church to anyone in need. – Coming together is important.
