The information that has come to light so far indicates that the shot went off unintentionally, but the circumstances are still under investigation. There is no evidence that there was a concrete threat situation that prompted the shooting, the Bureau writes in a press release. The police officer who fired the shot serves in the Emergency Squad, which assisted in connection with the arrest/search of a room at the site.
