4 July 2023 at 16:37 Woman confirmed dead after critical injuries at hotel A woman has been confirmed dead as a result of critical injuries following an incident at a hotel on Danmarks plass in Bergen. The woman was taken to hospital with critical injuries. The police are in an initial investigation phase and are treating this as a criminal offence. It must have been the hotel staff who reported the incident. The police have arrested a man at the scene, who, according to initial information, is suspected of having something to do with the act. – He has been arrested for grievous bodily harm, said operations manager at the western police district, Tore-Andre Brakstad at the beginning. Now the charge has been extended to murder. The police have not yet made it clear whether there have been witnesses to the incident itself. The police were notified of the incident via AMK at 3.50pm.
