At 10.30 p.m., the police reported the violent incident outside a pub in Torggata in central Oslo. The first report was of three injured. Later, the police adjusted the number to five, including the alleged perpetrator. Four of the injured are said to be security guards. One of them is seriously injured and taken to hospital. The other four receive health supervision at the emergency room. – A machete must have been used during the incident. We have control over this, says operations manager Line Skott to news. The other four should be out of danger, says task leader Magnus Strande to news. – We received a report that a machete had been used in Torggata. We mobilized and came up with many resources. There we were met by three people who were injured. Then it is the civilians who hold the possible perpetrator down, says Strande. He says the police quickly got control of the alleged perpetrator. Strande says that the incident happened in connection with breaking into a night club, where the perpetrator pulled out a machete. Not connected to Pride The police have no indication that the incident is connected to knife threats at Fagerborg in Oslo earlier on Saturday evening, or the ongoing pride celebration.
