The police went out to Grønland in Oslo on Tuesday evening after they had received a report that shots had been fired near the subway station. The emergency call came just after 7 p.m. – There are many people who are out and who have seen an incident that indicates that there are three to four people who have been involved in a scuffle, says police chief Magnus Strande. – Two of these people eventually pulled out guns on each other. Everyone then ran from the scene, the police write, adding that they have not received a report that anyone has been injured,” wrote the police. Want to make contact with witnesses Several police patrols are looking for those who were involved in this. They also speak to witnesses and secure evidence at the scene. People who saw anything that happened are asked to contact the police. – We have secured important evidence at the scene. Forensics is coming to look after the evidence, says Strande. The task leader assumes that they have questioned up to fifteen witnesses so far. He says it is too early to say anything about the police’s knowledge of those involved. The police currently do not know if this is connected to something that has happened in the past. At around 8 p.m., the police announced that they had secured a number of video images and other clues at the scene. There is still no information that any people have been injured, they say.
