8 June 2023 at 16:31 Agder: Prohibition against all use of fire All fire services in Agder have adopted a temporary regulation applicable from Friday 9 June regarding the prohibition against all use of fire, both infield and outfield. In a press release, they write that the regulations also prohibit the use of fire at approved campfires. It is now forbidden to light fires, use barbecues, storm kitchens and fire pans. It is still allowed to barbecue in prepared garden areas. Own house land and cultivated land are considered infield. Violations of the regulations can be punished with fines or imprisonment. The regulation applies until 30 June or until the fire service reports that the risk of forest fires has been significantly reduced.
