The match has been temporarily suspended, but will resume. Licensee Discovery has confirmed that the match will resume at 5.50pm with the public present at the stadium. The match will then have been interrupted for an hour. It was shortly after Martin Danielson scored 1-0 for the hosts that the scandalous scenes unfolded in Stockholm. First, the AIK supporters fired around ten shots, before it escalated further when AIK’s Axel Björnström received a red card three minutes into overtime. Several shots rang out in the arena, and a dozen flares were thrown onto the turf. The police therefore had to take to the pitch and stood in front of the AIK supporters. – It is a complete damn disaster that it looks like this, said Irma Helin Zibanejad on Discovery. AIK’s Erick Otieno was also sent off in overtime of the match, writes NTB.
