June 28, 2022 at 14:04 Must pay 10 million kroner after the accident with KNM Ingstad Hordaland, Sogn og Fjordane public prosecutor’s offices have imposed a fine of ten million kroner on the state at the Ministry of Defense after the accident with KNM Helge Ingstad, the government writes in a press release. The Ministry of Defense has today informed the public prosecutor that the fine will be adopted. The punishment is given for violation of the Penal Code § 356, cf. § 355, cf. § 27 for “by negligence having caused sea damage or similar accident, which could easily lead to loss of life”, it is stated in the press release.
