It must be burning quite well in the place, and there is a lot of dark smoke. The smoke can be harmful. There should be no danger of it spreading to other houses, the police say. The smoke is moving towards Holmenkollen. The police ask residents in the area to close windows and close ventilation systems. The fire department uses a lot of water to extinguish the fire, which creates more smoke. The residents have evacuated themselves and are being looked after by an ambulance on site. – There is nothing to indicate any serious personal injury, says operations manager of the Oslo police Tore Solberg. It is too early to say anything about the cause of the fire.
