26 April 2023 at 21:08 The US approves the Norwegian purchase of a helicopter The US State Department has approved a Norwegian purchase of a helicopter of the MH-60 type, reports Reuters. The Norwegian government announced in March that it will strengthen the Armed Forces with the new helicopters. The acquisition has an expected cost frame of around NOK 12 billion. In total, Norway is buying six helicopters, which are to be delivered until 2027. The first is planned to be on Norwegian soil from the summer of 2025.
