22 April 2023 at 15:01 Car in the water in Kvinnherad – a person picked up The fire brigade moved out on Saturday after a report that a car with a driver had ended up in the sea at a ferry quay in Kvinnherad. Divers from the Haugesund fire service rushed to the scene. Divers were also flown in from Bergen with the Norwegian Air Ambulance. After a while, the divers were able to retrieve a person who was in the car that ended up in the water, and life-saving first aid is given on the spot. According to the police, the incident must have happened after the car drove onto the ferry terminal. It is currently uncertain what happened and how the car ended up in the water. The police received a report about the accident at 2.38 pm.
