Hedvig Moe has been employed in the Police’s security service since 2020. On Monday morning, the employees were informed that the deputy chief is now resigning. Several sources claim to news that cooperation problems between Moe and PST boss Beate Gangås are to be the reason for the dismissal. Gangås started in the chief position in October last year. On Twitter, PST confirms that the deputy manager is leaving: – Hedvig Moe has been employed by the law firm Thommessen. She starts her new job on 23 May and has her last working day with us on 22 May. Criticism after the Oslo terror attack Hedvig Moe has been in trouble after the mass shooting in Oslo last summer. She was in charge of PST when the terror struck. Moe has therefore had to answer too much of the criticism directed at PST after the terror. PST downgraded the terrorist threat shortly before the shooting outside the London pub and Per on the corner on the night of 25 June last year. Six days before the terror, PST received a notification from the National Intelligence Service, with information about a possible terrorist attack in Scandinavia. PST never passed on the notification from the E-service to the police or the Ministry of Justice and Emergency Response. Moe has defended the assessments PST made both before and after the notice from the E-service. She has stated that the notice they received did not contain enough information for them to notify the ordinary police. – We did not receive any information about time, place, person or what was going to happen. If we are to give any information to the police about a possible terrorist attack, then they must be able to do something to stop the attack, Moe said.
