a search was launched on Sunday at 9 p.m. Around 25 volunteers, police and firemen took part. The man in his 20s had not been seen since he was out with friends on the night of Easter Sunday. The Red Cross, the rescue boat and divers from the fire service searched areas in the center and along the river, says operations manager in Agder police district, John Repstad. The deceased was located by divers at 11.30pm and then retrieved from the river. The police state that the person who was found has been identified, and that the next of kin have been notified. It is not suspected that anything criminal has taken place, the police said on Twitter. The police cordoned off a large area along the river while the search was underway.
