3 March 2023 at 17:18 F-35 must be upgraded All Norwegian fighter jets must be upgraded within 90 days to avoid harmful vibrations in the engine, writes Forsvarets Forum. The upgrade takes place after an American F35B aircraft (not the same type that Norway has) crashed on the runway in Fort Worth, Texas, in mid-December. The upgrade that needs to be done takes only four to eight hours, and does not result in more aircraft being grounded.
