Nevertheless, he says that they must stick to what the Supreme Court has arrived at. – The Supreme Court has not said what will happen to the wind power plant up on Fosen. – But they operate without a valid licence? – But they have not gone in and said what should be done with the wind power plant, says Aasland. Therefore, the ministry must handle the matter in an orderly manner, says the minister. – We must have a new knowledge base in place to be able to make a new decision, so that we do not violate Sami rights. Greta Thunberg appeared on Dagsnytt 18 on Monday to talk about the Fosen case. A human rights case Leader of NSR-N, Elle Nystad, says that they are grateful that Thunberg had the opportunity to participate in the campaign. – We are very grateful that Greta is here to view this case and has come here to support, she is here in solidarity with the Fosen people, says Nystad. – It is not a climate issue, this is a violation of human rights. It has been over 500 days since the Supreme Court found that the state’s decision to allow the operation of the wind farm at Fosen in Trøndelag was invalid. Demonstrators from NSR-N and Nature and Youth started their action against the Ministry of Oil and Energy on Thursday morning. For a period they occupied parts of the building, but on the night of Monday they were taken out by the police. On Monday, they will continue the action outside the ministry. There, among other things, they barricaded the garage entrance with ropes and chained themselves to one of the building’s side entrances. The police carried several of these away, but no one was taken into custody. Seven people received orders from the police.
