In November last year, the Swedish clothing chain announced that it will get rid of 1,500 employees in H&M Business Tech to save money. It is now clear that employees must undergo a series of tests to determine whether they can keep their jobs or not. According to Svenska Dagbladet, the company will check, among other things, intelligence and personality. Union leader Robin Olofsson, who represents H&M employees in the trade union Unionen, says that several people have called him and cried after learning that they will be tested. – Some will undergo up to 30 tests, he tells the newspaper.
